Jaaybo, known for his hit single ‘Boogieman,’ has been a notable figure in the music scene since 2018. He has released several albums, including ‘The Reaper’ and ‘Sinners Player.’ While in prison, Jaaybo dropped
‘The Reaper’ in August 2024, a project that reflects his tough experiences during his incarceration. In an interview with iHeart Radio, he shared that the lyrics for the album were not pre-written; instead, he recorded them spontaneously, saying, “I just went in there and just went crazy.”
Growing up influenced by his rapper father, Rrari, Jaaybo developed a love for music early on, often spending time in the studio as a teenager. Despite his musical success, Jaaybo’s past is marked by legal issues, including a conviction at the age of 14 for gun-related offenses and burglary. His lyrics often mirror his personal experiences with crime and violence.
