What happened between Scott Thomas and Tina Stinnes? The episode of Love Island All Stars that aired on Sunday night took a dramatic turn when host Maya Jama entered the villa wearing a striking black mesh dress.
She confronted Ronnie Vint regarding his involvement in a love triangle with Kaz Crossley and Elma Pazar, while also disclosing that the newest contestant, Tina Stinnes, had the authority to take one of the boys for herself.
Tina originally appeared in the second season of Love Island alongside Scott Thomas and his former partner Kady McDermott. Following a successful date with Scott, she was ultimately sidelined by Kady, who disparaged her as a “basic Made In Chelsea reject b—-.” Kady and Scott finished in fourth place and continued their relationship outside the show, although they later separated.
In this latest season, with the advantage of choice, Tina set her sights on Luca Bish and, notably, Scott. Ultimately, she opted for Scott, who was coupled with India Reynolds, after they both felt they “owed it” to each other to explore the connection that had been left unfulfilled in season 2.
Maya subsequently disclosed in a harsh manner that this indicated India’s elimination from the show.
Currently, a clip from Tina and Scott’s inaugural season of Love Island has resurfaced, casting doubt on the prospects of their participation in All Stars.
In 2016, Scott had the opportunity to engage in a video call with his twin brother, Adam Thomas, while residing in the villa. During this conversation, Adam cautioned him about Kady and recommended that he pursue a relationship with Tina instead. Nevertheless, Scott maintained that he did not have any romantic feelings for Tina, asserting that Kady was the only one he was attracted to.
Adam remarked, “Tell [Kady] to move on, mate. She is treating you poorly, bro. Consider Tina, and then the real competition would start, bro.”
Scott responded, “Do you really think so? I don’t fancy her, I only have eyes for Kady!”
Fast forward nine years, and Scott’s growing connection with Tina has resulted in the dismissal of his long-time friend, India, from the show. In their final conversation before her departure, India expressed her feelings to Scott, saying tearfully, “It’s alright, I genuinely hope you and Tina get along and enjoy your time together.”
What happened between Scott Thomas and Tina Stinnes?
Viewers of the series will recall that in season 2, Scott went on a date with Tina while Kady was confined to the hideaway. During their date in All Stars, Scott and Tina reflected on this experience, with Scott remarking, “We had a really good date, didn’t we?”
Tina reminded him of their time spent “playing in a pool,” and they both concurred that the ensuing “chaos” prevented them from getting to know each other better.
As she bid farewell to India, Tina expressed, “I’m so sorry, I felt like I couldn’t let the opportunity of me and Scott pass by again.”
Back at home, Scott’s brothers Adam and Ryan reacted in real-time to the surprising recoupling. Ryan’s response contrasted sharply with Adam’s, who leaped up and shouted at the television, “Oh my God, he’s buzzing. He’s absolutely buzzing! Oh my God, this is… great telly!”
Ryan exhibited a more restrained shock at Tina’s choice of Scott, but both brothers were taken aback when India was announced as single and eliminated from the island.
Additionally, some fans noted a comment made by Scott while conversing with the other boys in the villa, where he expressed uncertainty about Tina being someone with whom he could “settle down,” although he acknowledged that she would be a lot of “fun.”
One user took to X to comment, “Scott said he only sees Tina as someone to have fun with [crying emoji] I like India.”
Another remarked, “Can’t wait to see Tina’s reaction when she hears Scott say she’s just for fun but not for settling down.”
