The Albanian drug lord husband of a glamorous Met Police officer who advised her YouTube followers how to create ‘the perfect booty’ faces jail for his role in massive cocaine deals.

Julian Agalliu, 47, used EncroChat to carry out drug deals before the encrypted app favoured by gangsters was taken down by international law enforcement in 2020.

Agalliu boasted to associates he was married to PC Rasvinder Agalliu, 45, and was warned to tell his wife to ‘hide’ documents as the net closed.

National Crime Agency officers uncovered messages on EncroChat referring to 100kg cocaine parcels, stamped with the Hublot luxury watch brand, and gun deals, Woolwich Crown Court heard.

Jurors heard cocaine was found at the couple’s home in Hadley Wood, north London.

Agalliu denied but was convicted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and conspiracy to supply class B drugs, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of criminal property.

He is due to be sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court later today along with associate Daniel McNeil-Duncan, 37, who earlier admitted conspiracy to supply.

Prosecutor William Davis said: ‘Mr Agalliu and Mr McNeil-Duncan were identified as users of EncroChat.

‘Those devices were used to organise the supply of large quantities of cocaine and cannabis.

‘It was a secure communications system used by organised criminals.

‘They believed it kept them beyond the reach of law enforcement agencies.’

‘An aggravating factor is the use of sophisticated methods of technology to avoid detection.’

PC Agalliu was based at the central west borough command unit after signing up 19 years ago.

She was also a personal trainer who told YouTube viewers how to create the ‘perfect booty’.

Last year she was crowned Miss Enfield in the UK’s National Miss pageant competition classic category.

But she was booted out of the force in December 2022 after a set of digital scales and more than £27,000 in cash was found at the couple’s home during a police raid in June 2020.

A police radio, belonging to a colleague, was found in PC Agalliu’s handbag.

Cocaine was found in a drawer containing passports at the Agalliu family home while the drug was also found inside a Louis Vuitton box under the couple’s bed.

Furthermore, officers recovered a book from a second rented home nearby which contained the ‘Nicemoon’ handle handwritten alongside drug deal records.

Body armour belonging to PC Agalliu was also found with handcuffs, items of uniform and a set of case papers. A large number of cannabis plants under cultivation were also found at the property.

Agalliu used the handle ‘Nicemoon’ on Encrochat while McNeil-Duncan was ‘Ekspinoza’ in thousands of messages between March and June 2020.

The prosecutor had read a series of messages from Nicemoon to a criminal contact in which he says: ‘I’m driving my wife to work.’

The associate replied: ‘Oh good to station police?’

ANPR data tracked the couple’s Audi to the police station in Kensington where PC Agalliu was working that day.

Agalliu also boasted his wife had been promoted to sergeant in the Met and shortly before law enforcement agencies infiltrated EncroChat he was asked if his wife knew about the operation.

The contact messaged him: ‘What if she gets hold of the EncroChat? Tell her to hide the papers.’

In police interview Agalliu claimed she was a stripper, who also worked as a sex worker, had set him up and ruined his life.

McNeil-Duncan, of Brentwood, Essex, earlier admitted two charges of conspiracy to supply.

Agalliu, from Hadley Wood, denied but was convicted of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, conspiracy to supply class B drugs, possession with intent to supply cocaine, and possession of criminal property.

PC Agalliu was not charged with drug offences but last December she was found to have breached the Met’s standards of professional behaviour.

The misconduct panel also found she breached the force’s standards on respect of honesty and integrity, discreditable conduct, duties and responsibilities and orders and instructions.

Judge Ruth Downing is due to sentence Mr Agalliu and McNeil-Duncan later today.
