Police conducted dawn raids in Warrington, arresting 12 individuals linked to a drug conspiracy investigation.

They kicked things off early yesterday morning, with officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit executing warrants. It wasn’t just in Warrington, either; they hit places across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, and even north Wales.
In total, they searched 12 properties in various towns, including St Helens, Skelmersdale, Worsley, Cheadle, and Caernarfon. While they haven’t shared the exact addresses in Warrington, they did manage to seize around £130,000 in cash and 2kg of cocaine during the searches.
The arrests included 10 men and two women, all suspected of drug offenses, including conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs. They were taken in for questioning at local police stations.
DI Kelly Wild from the NWROCU mentioned that these warrants were the result of a thorough investigation. She highlighted the hard work put in by her team and partner forces to tackle organized crime that affects communities.
She made it clear that they’re serious about cracking down on drug-related activities and warned anyone involved that they will be caught and face justice. Wild emphasized that drugs harm communities, and they’re dedicated to holding those responsible accountable.
