Fond Du Lac: A 19-year-old guy in Wisconsin got really upset about the TikTok ban and decided to set fire to a local congressman’s office. It happened early Sunday morning, just after 1 a.m.
Police found him nearby and he admitted to starting the fire. He said it was his reaction to the news about TikTok being banned. The office belongs to Rep. Glenn Grothman.

Luckily, the building was empty at the time, so no one got hurt. The teen is now in jail facing an arson charge, and more charges might be coming his way.
This TikTok ban has been a hot topic, especially since it affects around 170 million users in the U.S. Many were worried when Congress put the ban into effect.
Former President Trump stepped in, promising to help TikTok find a way to keep operating in the U.S. He said he’d sign an executive order to give them more time to work things out.
In response, TikTok thanked Trump for his support, saying it’s a win for free speech and small businesses that rely on the app. They’re looking to collaborate on a long-term solution.
