A 14-year-old girl will be released after seven months in custody for the torture of another teenage girl on the Sunshine Coast last year.
The 14-year-old was sentenced today over a string of offences, including an assault in March. 

She was one of three girls charged over an incident in which a 13-year-old girl was lured to a home and tortured for four hours.

Their victim was beaten and sliced with a knife, and the ordeal was captured and shared online to millions of views.

The 14-year-old pleaded guilty to more than 40 offences.

The girl will be released after seven months behind bars after the judge handed her a suspended sentence.

She will undertake a conditional release program with strict reporting requirements for the next three years.
