A 70-year-old man has been hospitalised after he was allegedly assaulted in Perth.
The man was walking through a carpark on Cockleshell Brace in Jindalee about 3am when he was allegedly pushed over by two men.
The two men then allegedly punched and kicked him while he was lying on the ground, which was captured on nearby CCTV.
A witness to the alleged assault recounted the man’s injuries.
“He had a very bad black eye, with a lot of blood,” witness Stephen Radford told 9News.
“Blood all over his whole face, the whole lot.”
The 70-year-old man was taken to the intensive care unit of a Perth hospital, where he is in a stable condition.
Police later arrested a 21-year-old and a 22-year-old.
