The woman, who can barely speak English, replies, “I don’t know”.

“Show me where the f— your keys are now,” the intruder demands.

Frightened and confused, the woman is dragged by the intruder through her own house before he is seen confronting and threatening another woman.

“Where’s the car keys?” he demands.

He eventually gave up the search and jumps from the balcony to escape.

Police allege the duo had attempted to ransack another home only minutes earlier.

The 78-year-old resident told 9News intruders held a knife to her neck and dragged her through the house on her back.

The ordeal left her with bruises and cuts across her arms and too shaken to speak on camera.

Her neighbour Chrissy heard the screams.

“I just thank god she didn’t get killed – she could have been,” Chrissy said.

Chrissy said she new something was “really wrong”.

“I thought this ‘isn’t normal, she’s not just calling me to say let’s have a chat’,” Chrissy said.

The pair escaped empty handed but residents on the street, including young man Archer Corless, have been left feeling frustrated and scared.

“We’re terrified, there’s a lot of elderly people on the street … all we can do is fear for the safety of our residency,” he said.

“It’s about time we took a strong stance on this and did something.”

A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were charged over the alleged incident.

The boy is expected to face court in Brisbane tomorrow on charges including wounding and serious assault.
