A ute smashed through security bollards outside of a tobacconist in Queensland last night before it was set alight.
Police said a white Nissan Navara utility drove through the security bollards of the shop on Gympir Road in Strathpine, Moreton Bay about 10pm.
The car was then torched outside of the tobacconist.
A short time later, a 26-year-old man who was nearby was assaulted by three people, police also allege.
The trio allegedly then fled on foot.
The 26-year-old was taken to the Prince Charles Hospital with minor injuries.
Police believe the ute was stolen from a home in Booval, more than 50km away, between July 9 and 11.
