Justin Baldoni has updated his lawsuit against Blake Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, to include specific notes he claims to have received from the intimacy coordinator during a meeting that Lively did not attend.
In the amended complaint filed on January 31, Baldoni mentioned that he found himself in the “less than ideal position of having to relay” the intimacy coordinator’s notes to Lively.

The actor-director stated that he went to Lively’s penthouse in New York City, where she allegedly requested a meeting to discuss ideas for the film’s intimate scenes, as detailed in the legal documents.
The notes from the intimacy coordinator, dated April 2023, reportedly included suggestions that Baldoni’s character “goes down on” Lively’s character, and that both would “orgasm” during a scene that also involved “foreplay.”
Baldoni’s lawsuit claims that Lively, 37, expressed her hesitation to “orgasm” on screen, saying she felt “too old for that.”
Baldoni, 41, asserted that he proposed an alternative based on the intimacy coordinator’s suggestions but eventually “moved on.”
“Ultimately, Lively rejected all of the intimacy coordinator’s proposals to rewrite the scenes herself,” the lawsuit states.
“These notes would later become the foundation of Lively’s complaint, in which she accused Baldoni of discussing his own sex life and including unnecessary scenes featuring Lively’s character orgasming,” the court documents further claim, referencing Lively’s allegations of sexual harassment.
Baldoni’s legal team also challenged Lively’s claims that her character’s birth scene was filmed on a “chaotic” and “crowded” set, lacking standard industry protections, while she was only wearing minimal coverage for her private areas.
The director of “Five Feet Apart” argued in his lawsuit that Lively was dressed in black briefs and a pregnancy suit that hid her midsection, while her upper body was covered by a hospital gown during the filming of the birthing scene.
In December 2024, the star of “Age of Adaline” filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department and later took legal action against Baldoni, claiming sexual harassment and efforts to damage her reputation.
Lively’s complaint stated that an “all-hands” meeting was held to discuss Baldoni’s conduct, during which he was reportedly told to stop talking about his past porn addiction and to refrain from showing her “nude videos or images of women.”
Additionally, during this meeting, Baldoni was allegedly asked to avoid adding more sex scenes that were considered “outside the scope” of the script.
