Karon “Ronny Doe” Cann, 24, who was previously in a relationship with Chrisean Rock, was sadly shot and killed on February 3rd in Severn, Maryland.
Authorities have ruled his death a homicide, confirming that the shooting was intentional.
Police responded to an emergency call from a home in Severn, about 25 minutes from Baltimore, where they found Cann lying outside. They quickly provided medical assistance and rushed him to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead due to his injuries. The investigation is still active, with law enforcement interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
Officials have indicated that the shooting was not random and that Cann was specifically targeted. As of now, no suspects have been publicly identified.
Cann’s death comes after a tumultuous public relationship with Rock. In October 2024, he claimed on Instagram to be the biological father of Rock’s child with rapper Blueface, which sparked considerable controversy. The situation escalated in November 2024 when Cann confronted Rock at a mall, leading to police involvement after the situation became heated. At that time, Rock was with her infant son, and the question of paternity continued to be a contentious issue.
The investigation into Cann’s death is ongoing, and more information is expected as the case develops.
