Sean “Diddy” Combs allegedly brought three handguns to confront Suge Knight at Mel’s Drive-In in Los Angeles, according to testimony from his former assistant, David James.

The explosive claim was made during Diddy’s ongoing sex trafficking trial in a New York federal court.

James, who worked for Diddy from 2007 to 2009, recounted a 2008 incident where he and security guard D-Roc went to fetch cheeseburgers around 3 a.m. When they spotted Knight in the parking lot, tensions escalated. D-Roc greeted Knight, but James said a gun was passed to Knight, prompting them to flee. They later returned to the diner at Diddy’s command — with three handguns on Diddy’s lap, James testified.

The assistant revealed he feared for his life during the incident, stating, “It was the first time I realized my life was in danger.” He left his job six months later.

The trial also included details about Diddy’s luxury hotel routines, including his use of aliases, and personal requests involving applesauce, baby oil, and cash. Regina Ventura, Cassie Ventura’s mother, testified Diddy demanded $20,000 repayment after learning Cassie was dating Kid Cudi. He allegedly threatened to release explicit tapes of Cassie.

More witnesses are expected to testify this week, including Kid Cudi. Diddy’s lawyer questioned inconsistencies in James’ statements, but James insisted he had no choice but to drive.
