DJ Mustard took a clear stance in the Kendrick Lamar–Drake feud during his Coachella Weekend 2 set on April 18. The West Coast producer played Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us” twice—and even added a jab of his own: “Why you suing like a b***h, ain’t you tired?” he shouted to the crowd.
The diss track has become a defining anthem in the ongoing conflict between Lamar and Drake. Mustard’s use of it—after omitting the track from his first-weekend set—marked a notable shift in tone, placing him firmly in Kendrick’s corner. The following night, Lamar continued the theme at the kickoff of his “Grand National” stadium tour with SZA and Mustard, appearing to mock Drake’s signature vocal style before launching into “Not Like Us.”

According to AllHipHop, Drake is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group (UMG), claiming reputational damage from public attacks. In a statement, his legal team said the rapper “welcomes discovery” and looks forward to questioning UMG executives under oath. The lawsuit even references major cultural events like the Super Bowl and the Grammys—raising the possibility that moments like Mustard’s Coachella set could be cited as part of the case.
