Drake’s Dad Dismisses Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Wins: “I Don’t Care!”

While Drake has opted to stay silent about Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Not Like Us’ sweeping the Grammy Awards, his father, Dennis Graham, has stepped in to share his views on the song’s success.

Lamar’s track, which includes a sharp diss aimed at Drake, won in all five categories it was nominated for, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. With these wins, Lamar’s Grammy total has now climbed to 22.

After the awards show, reporters asked Dennis Graham for his take on the song’s success, especially given its controversial lyrics that accuse Drake of being a pedophile. However, Graham brushed off the controversy, saying,

“I don’t care nothin’ about that sh*t. That ain’t got nothin’ to do with me.” Despite his apparent lack of concern, he wished Lamar well, adding, “All the best to him… I don’t do that bullsh*t.”

Though Graham has mostly stayed out of the public feud between his son and Lamar, he did comment on Lamar’s verse in Future and Metro Boomin’s ‘Like That.’ In a March Instagram post, Graham mocked the idea that artists create fake rivalries to boost their sales, suggesting it’s just a ploy for attention.

Lamar’s song, which continues to escalate tensions, includes harsh critiques of both Drake and his father. In the verse, Lamar blames Dennis for shaping his son into a “master manipulator” and holds him responsible for Drake’s alleged issues, like gambling and manipulative behavior. The ongoing public feud, filled with insults and accusations, shows no signs of resolution anytime soon.
