After the memorable heart rate challenge, the relationship between Love Island All Stars’ Elma Pazar and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has become somewhat strained. Before the challenge, Elma had asked the other girls not to kiss her partner, Sammy Root. However, Ekin-Su went ahead and gave Sammy a quick kiss, which upset Elma. Out of respect for her, Sammy decided to avoid any interaction with Ekin-Su during his part of the challenge.
Following several discussions, it appeared that the issue had been settled, with Ekin claiming she “blacked out” and meant no harm. However, during a game of ‘Snog Marry Pie,’ the situation flared up again when Sammy pied Ekin in reference to “that kiss.”

Fast forward nearly a week, and both Sammy and Elma took the chance to ask the public whether Ekin-Su and Curtis Pritchard were the “weakest couple” in a new segment of the show—an unfortunate move.
This revelation might not be entirely surprising, as former islander Tina Stinnes shared on the Love Island: The Morning After podcast that the tension between Elma and Ekin has not fully faded. In her chat with Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart, Tina noted, “I think there’s still a little something brewing with Ekin and Elma. Basically, Ekin still feels that the grudge is firmly held.”
Tina’s observation proved to be correct, as shown by a heated exchange between Elma and Ekin-Su in the latest episode. While sitting with Curtis and Sammy, Ekin-Su said, “I feel like ever since the heart rate challenge, there’s been a strange grudge between you two and us, and you haven’t let it go…”
Ekin added, “I’m tired of it and just frustrated; I’ve been silent for days. I’m expressing exactly how I feel; you’ve held something against me since the heart rate challenge—let it go.”
Elma retorted, “Did we not resolve this the other day? You’re irritating me.” This exchange escalated into a full-blown argument in front of the other islanders.
