Arsenal midfielder Frida Maanum is ‘responsive’ and ‘stable’ after collapsing during the Continental League Cup final with Chelsea.

The midfielder fell to the ground unopposed in the 95th minute in worrying scenes at Molineux.

Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall was the first to notice his player required attention before Katie McCabe urgently called for the medics to enter the pitch.

Maanum appeared unresponsive before paramedics and members of Arsenal’s medical team began working on her.

There was silence in the stadium as a nine-minute delay ensued.
