The deadly avalanche struck the Nathula mountain pass in India’s northeastern state of Sikkim today.
Officials said that as many as 30 people were injured in the incident in the tiny mountainous state.
Photos taken at the scene show that rescue operations are now underway in the area as authorities search for anyone who is trapped.
