A lady was captured on camera stealing an attendant’s phone in a wine shop. It happened at a local wine shop one afternoon.
In the footage, she is seen pretending to be a client who wants to buy a bottle of wine while inside the store.
The woman requested for a particular type of wine when asked by the seller what she needed. As soon as the employee turned around to pick it from the shelf, she swiftly grabbed the phone with her left hand from the counter and placed it inside her bag.
Unaware of what had taken place, the shop assistant went on serving her. The theft was discovered after the attendant realized that her phone was missing later on; this prompted them to check on the CCTV cameras.
The owner of the store is offering a reward of fifty thousand naira for anyone who can identify this thief. Kindly reach out to the authorities nearest to you if you have any details regarding her or recognize the person in question.
