This is the Department of Justice form that has led to Hunter Biden‘s undoing after he admitted to lying about his drug addiction when buying a gun.

Delaware, where the First Son purchased the 0.38 caliber pistol, makes any buyer answer a series of questions before they can lay their hands on a weapon.

One from the 2018 application asks if the applicant uses or is addicted to drugs. The box is clearly checked ‘no.’

Joe Biden has always insisted that his son did nothing wrong. But Hunter has now decided to plead guilty.

Hunter allegedly lied on a firearm report (above) required for his gun transaction. A photo of the form shows he answered 'no' when asked if he was an 'unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance'

His answer contradicts with what he wrote in his memoir ‘Beautiful Things’ in which he openly admitted to his battle with alcohol and narcotics.

As part of the promotional blitz for that book, he told CBS News that at once time he was  ‘smoking crack around the clock’

Video discovered on Hunter’s laptop computer shows him naked and brandishing a handgun in a hotel room in 2018, allegedly five days after buying the gun.

Hunter’s girlfriend at the time Hallie, his brother Beau’s widow, eventually threw the revolver after finding it in his car at grocery store Janssen’s Market in Wilmington, Delaware.

She claims that she disposed of the gun because she thought he was going to kill himself.

She told the store and the store’s general manager called the police.

The FBI were called to the scene and both Hunter and Hallie were interviewed by police.

Angry text exchanges between the pair were later leaked online in which Hunter accused his sister-in-law turned lover of turning him over to the feds.

‘I hate what you’ve done to me,’ Hunter said. ‘I won’t ever recover from all of this.’

The plea deal that Hunter Biden struck on Tuesday should mean that he avoids going to jail if the agreement is signed off by a judge.

Under the agreement, he has said he will plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges.

Prosecutors have also charged him with possessing a firearm while being a user of illegal drugs, which is a felony.

But DOJ officials have agreed to dismiss that charge if he completes a two-year period of probation.

But his legal woes do not end there. Republicans are vowing to ramp up their Congressional probe into allegations of Hunter’s influence peddling.

GOP bigwigs accuse the 53-year-old of using his father’s political connections to land lucrative contracts abroad.

There is also an ongoing lawsuit between one of his former flings, an ex-stripper who bore his out-of-wedlock child.

Lunden Roberts is suing Hunter in a row over alleged missing child support payments for their daughter Navy Joan Roberts, born in August of 2018.

She alleges that he has ignored court orders requiring him to turn over records about his finances.

Hunter appeared in court in Arkansas last month in a bid to reduce his $20,000 monthly child support payments.

He has claimed in the past that he was so drunk and high on drugs that he had no recollection of the trysts with the one-time erotic dancer.

But after a 2020 paternity test, Biden began to pay child support although his father has made no mention of his seventh grandchild.
