Elon Musk responds to accusations of a Nazi salute, urging critics to improve their tactics and thanking the ADL for their support.

Washington: So, Elon Musk recently found himself in hot water over a gesture he made during Trump’s inauguration. He put his hand over his heart and then raised his arm, which some folks claimed looked like a Nazi salute.
Musk wasn’t having any of it. He took to X, saying that the left needs to come up with better tricks because the whole “everyone is Hitler” thing is getting old. He’s 55 and clearly not backing down.
After the backlash, he thanked the Anti-Defamation League for calling his move an “awkward gesture” instead of a Nazi salute. He even threw in a laughing emoji for good measure.
The ADL pointed out that it was a tense moment for many, especially with Trump back in the White House. They said Musk’s gesture seemed more like an enthusiastic move than anything sinister.
They also reminded everyone that our politics are pretty heated right now and suggested we all take a breath and give each other some grace. Here’s hoping for a bit of unity moving forward!
