Chelsea’s £52m player is now receiving transfer interest ahead of this upcoming summer window.

Blues fans will be excited by any new potential incomings at Stamford Bridge. However, several individuals are also being linked with possible exits before the start of next season.

The first signing of the Enzo Maresca era has already been confirmed, with 26-year-old defender Tosin Adarabioyo officially joining on 1 July on a free transfer.

How many Chelsea stars will leave through the exit doors this summer, though?

Clubs enquire about £52m Chelsea man

Sky Sports Germany journalist Philipp Hinze has reported via X that some clubs have registered interest in signing Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku this summer.

It is understood that Nkunku, 26, has received enquiries from interested parties.

However, the French attacker plans to stay at Chelsea, where he hopes to emerge as a key figure next year.

As it stands, there is no transfer planned for him.

Nkunku, who cost £52m (BBC) from RB Leipzig last summer, had a really tough debut season in Chelsea colours. He played just 14 games across all competitions during a frustrating injury-hit campaign, scoring three goals in return.

The Chelsea Chronicle is delighted to hear that Nkunku wants to make himself a success at Stamford Bridge next year. For certain, the goalscoring forward has the tools to improve the starting XI.

‘Unlucky’ Christopher Nkunku will come good

Don’t let Nkunku’s tough first year in England cloud over how much ability and potential he has.

The attacker scored 70 goals and made 56 assists in 172 appearances for Leipzig in Germany.

Chelsea fans should believe they’ll see the best from him next season.

It is certainly a belief that Blues star Cole Palmer shares. He thinks his “unlucky” Chelsea teammate will prove his quality to everyone when fit.

Palmer commented on Nkunku via Chelsea’s website last month: “Everyone knows his quality, even from Leipzig, before he came here. He’s been unlucky with injuries but if he can get firing and get fit you saw what he can do out there last night. So I think next season everyone will see how good he actually is.”
