Chelsea fans will be looking for more of the same from their player when they return to Premier League action tomorrow evening.

They will take on Nottingham Forest away from home, with every point essential in them looking to secure European football for next season.

They currently sit in the top seven, although a Europa League finish is reportedly being demanded by the owners this month.

This could be huge for Mauricio Pochettino, who is still looking to convince some that he is the right man to take this project into the coming years.

His quest to prove this starts tomorrow at the City Ground, against a Forest side looking to secure their status as a Premier League side.

They have been buoyed by strong performances lately of Callum Hudson-Odoi, who is finally showing the ability many knew was there somewhere before he was sold by Chelsea.

Forest looking to do double over Chelsea for first time in 45 years

Their opponents tomorrow got the better of them earlier this season at Stamford Bridge, and now have the chance to do the double over the Blues.

According to BBC Sport, it will be the first time in 45 years they have completed this feat, something that would be really damning for Chelsea in their quest to finish the season on a high.

The defeat at Stamford Bridge was notable for one of the worst misses of the season by Nicolas Jackson, as the home fans went home frustrated early in the campaign.

Cole Palmer key for Chelsea

The game did at least give supporters their first look at Cole Palmer after his summer transfer from Manchester City.

While he did not manage to have an impact on the result on his debut, he showed plenty of promise straight away, with him going on to have one of the best first campaigns in Premier League history, picking up two awards this week at the club’s annual awards ceremony.
