Reports have shared that Chelsea have been set a very soon deadline if they want to make one signing this summer.

All eyes are on the Blues and who they look to bring in to give the best possible platform for the new manager to succeed.

The decision was made to hire Enzo Maresca to replace Mauricio Pochettino, and the lengthy contract they offered him suggested that they have a lot of faith in his ability to take the project into the future.

It has been claimed that both a winger and a striker are on their shortlist in order to strengthen their attack this summer.

One out and out striker who has reportedly been on their radar is Joshua Zirkzee after his strong campaign at Bologna.

Chelsea told it’s ‘now or never’ for Joshua Zirkzee

The Serie A side have qualified for the Champions League for next season, and their manager Thiago Motta was in high demand too.

It was reported that some chiefs at Stamford Bridge wanted him as the next head coach, although that did not come to fruition.

However, GiveMeSport have now claimed that the Blues have been told it is now or never when it comes to if they want to add Zirkzee to their ranks.

They are facing some top competition for his signature, and his quality was noted by Motta last season after he described him as ‘special’.

Chelsea keen on Benjamin Sesko

The Blues have a number of names on their shortlist for a new striker, with Benjamin Sesko reportedly high up on the list.

It has been claimed that they are prepared to pay the release clause fee in order to sign the RB Leipzig striker, however they are facing plenty of competition to bring him in.

Victor Osimhen was seen as the number one target for an extended period of time, however it seems as if Chelsea have dropped their interest in bringing him in.
