The transition from Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea has not been an easy one for Mykhailo Mudryk.
Mykhailo Mudryk joined Chelsea for a big fee, placing high expectations on the winger, and really struggled in his debut season at Stamford Bridge. In 17 appearances, he failed to score a single goal.
The 23-year-old does seem to be settling a bit better now, with the Evening Standard claiming that Mauricio Pochettino has got him out of his shell and helped him to develop relationships inside the dressing room.
In front of goal, Mudryk has done much better this term, finding the back of the net five times.
His latest strike came against Leeds United in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Chelsea won 3-2 on the night to knock out their rivals.

It is good that Mudryk is starting to make real friends at Chelsea. That should help him as this adaptation process continues, the support of those in the dressing room.
It is an interesting dressing room Chelsea have right now. There are a lot of young players and expensive signings in it.

The team have not performed well this season, but goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has claimed that everyone is still behind Pochettino.
For how long remains to be seen, but there has been no mutiny and with Chelsea not having much to play for, there probably will not be one before May.
It is a campaign that the Blues may just end up writing off. Next season, though, they obviously have to do much better. Pochettino, if the former Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur manager is still at Stamford Bridge, needs to get way more out of this squad. It is simply too good to be in the bottom half of the table. Hopefully Mudryk and his team-mates can go up a couple of gears.
