Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea are looking to wrap up their first piece of business in the coming days.

The club are likely to have another busy summer transfer window at the end of this season off the back of another campaign under the ownership.

There is no doubt going to need to be a number of departures from Stamford Bridge if they are to balance the books and bring in new players.

It has been reported that they could perhaps be parting ways with a number of key first team players, and Conor Gallagher’s name continues to crop up in reports.

This is despite his importance to Mauricio Pochettino and the starting side this season, which is perhaps a statement of how much they are backing the manager at this stage.

As far as their coming additions go, it has been reported that they have already agreed personal terms with youngster Estevao Willian.

While no deal has been reached between the two sides at this stage, it has been reported that they are confident that they can achieve a deal.

Chelsea want to wrap up Estevao Willian deal quickly

Now, Romano has added that the Blues are looking at getting the signing wrapped up in the coming days in order to avoid any surprises.

He said on Twitter: “Chelsea want to seal Willian Estevão deal as soon as possible after personal terms agreed, as reported.

“Negotiations underway with Palmeiras while Chelsea want to get it done in the next days to avoid any surprise. Chelsea believe he’s generational talent and big opportunity.”

Chelsea excited by Kendry Paez future

Signing young players has been key to the mantra of Todd Boehly since he took over as owner, with them already adding a number of top young players.

The highlight addition up to now has been Kendry Paez, who there is plenty of excitement over considering the teenager is already a regular for the Ecuador national team.

However, there is real belief that signing Estevao could be a real statement in terms of the potential he has for the future.
