San Francisco: Charles Barkley didn’t hold back during a recent episode of TNT’s “Inside the NBA.” He slammed the city while talking about Cade Cunningham’s All-Star chances.
Barkley said, “I’m not going. I’m not going to that rat-infested place out in San Francisco.” He clearly has strong feelings about the city.

Barkley has a history of criticizing San Francisco. Last year, he made similar comments during the All-Star festivities in Indiana. He asked Reggie Miller if he’d prefer the cold or being around “homeless crooks” in San Francisco.
When Draymond Green defended the city, Barkley shot back, saying, “Yeah, with a bulletproof vest.”
This isn’t the first time he’s brought up the city’s issues. During the Western Conference Finals in 2022, he mentioned the dirty streets and homelessness, saying, “y’all gotta clean that off the streets.”
Barkley’s comments have sparked quite a bit of chatter, and it looks like he’s sticking to his guns about skipping the All-Star game.
