It could be a very exciting end to the transfer window for Chelsea supporters, who are yet to see their club make any new signings.
Chelsea recalled Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace, but the Blues have not bought anyone.
However, with there still being some time remaining in the January transfer window, that could change.
Chelsea are being linked with wide man Mathys Tel, whose future is up in the air at the moment, while another area of Enzo Maresca‘s squad could also be strengthened before Monday’s deadline.

Chelsea not ruling out signing a striker
There is a lot of talk about Tel, Alejandro Garnacho and Chelsea right now, two wingers who have caught the Blues’ attention.
Chelsea signing a new centre-forward this week or next Monday, though, is also a possibility. According to journalist Simon Johnson, the club are ready to do a deal at the right price.
Speaking on GiveMeSport‘s Market Madness podcast, he said: “With Chelsea, all along, it’s been kind of the messages I’ve been receiving: ‘If there’s a deal available for the right price, then we might think about doing it’. And striker is a position that, not just this window, but for the summer, is one of the key positions they’re looking at.”
One striker who will not be joining Chelsea is Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran. Duran has agreed to join Al-Nassr and is closing in on a move there.

Chelsea make Georginio Rutter enquiry
Another name that is now off the table is Brighton & Hove Albion’s Georginio Rutter.
It has been claimed that Chelsea made an enquiry about Rutter, only to be told by Brighton that the 22-year-old is unavailable.
At his young age, Rutter has potential and has been able to score a few goals for the Seagulls this season. Last term, he was very productive for former club Leeds United, coming up with 22 goal contributions in 48 Championship appearances.
After one game, ex-teammate Crysencio Summerville, now at West Ham United, described him as “formidable”.
However, Rutter is not going to make Chelsea any better. The France U21 international is not a prolific forward yet and has not done anything in the current campaign to suggest that he would be an upgrade on Nicolas Jackson.
