Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing a young striker who’s only just made a first-team breakthrough at his club.
Many Blues fans would love to see them add another centre-forward to the Chelsea squad to compete with Nicolas Jackson. As it stands, Christopher Nkunku and youngster Marc Guiu are the alternative options to lead the line.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca wants to recruit another striker, whether that’s in the current January transfer window or in the summer.

Chelsea could ramp up interest in Lyon youngster Enzo Molebe
According to Le Parisien, Chelsea have a ‘serious interest’ in signing Lyon teenager Enzo Molebe.
It is understood that the Blues are keen on recruiting the 17-year-old striker in the January window. Therefore, Maresca’s side may ‘accelerate’ their interest to sign the teenager.
Molebe, who’s developed in the Lyon academy during recent years, only made his first-team debut for the French giants back in November. He came off the bench in a Europa League group stage match versus Qarabag to make his senior debut.
Molebe’s only made two senior appearances so far because his career is in its infancy, but Chelsea are circling for his signature in this window.
In terms of his international career, he’s represented France at various age groups up to the Under-18s.

What about Marc Guiu?
Chelsea striker Guiu, 19, is a young centre-forward on the club’s books right now.
He’s shown his potential with six goals in six appearances in the Conference League this campaign for the Blues, but he’s not had much of a look-in elsewhere.
Chelsea rejected Coventry City’s approach for Guiu earlier in January as they tried to take the striker on loan for the rest of the season.
If Guiu is struggling for minutes in the Blues first team, it seems unrealistic to think that Molebe could arrive mid-season and get much game time.
