Chelsea wonderkid Estevao Willian was at the heart of the action this week as his Palmeiras side recorded a 1-1 draw against Corinthians.
The excitement within the Chelsea fanbase towards Estevao Willian continues to grow every week.
It was confirmed last year that Estevao, 17, will be officially joining Chelsea in the summer of 2025. In the meantime, Blues supporters are enjoying watching his development for Brazilian club Palmeiras.
Chelsea believe they’ve hit the jackpot with Estevao after beating Barcelona and Real Madrid to his signature. Paris Saint-Germain also tried to sign Estevao before missing out to the Blues.
The teenage attacker, who’s so effective as a right-winger cutting on to his stronger left foot, does look like a real star in the making.

Chelsea fans blown away by Estevao Willian moment in latest Palmeiras display
Many Chelsea supporters on social media were blown away by Estevao in his latest club performance.
The Brazilian prospect earned Palmeiras a penalty in the final stages of the game after some stunning footwork in the box, dribbling past some opponents before being fouled. Unfortunately, he couldn’t then convert the spot-kick in stoppage time as the game finished 1-1.
Here are Blues fans on X truly mesmerised by their future star…
One fan wrote: “Estevao Willian won the penalty for Palmeiras in the dying seconds of the game. He took it and missed it unfortunately but the way he’s been playing, it isn’t normal for a 17 year old. Our future superstar!”
“It takes three attempts in the box before they can even get close enough to foul Estevao. The boy is ridiculously good,” another posted.
Estevao is him.

“Boys got insane close control and ball manoeuvring,” another shared.

Estevao Willian shines despite penalty miss
Even though Estevao saw his penalty saved against Corinthians, it was another eye-catching individual performance from him that’s captured the imagination of Chelsea supporters.
Here is a look at the youngster’s individual statistics from this week’s game…
Minutes played | Total shots | Chances created | Accurate passes | Successful dribbles | Touches in opposition box | Corners | Match rating |
90 | 5 | 3 | 27/34 (79%) | 7/13 (54%) | 12 | 6 | 8.0 |
Estevao claims he’s got no fear of failing at Chelsea, which is an elite mentality from one of the world’s most exciting rising stars. The anticipation ahead of his arrival at Stamford Bridge is certainly building.
We think that he’ll be joining such a young Blues squad later this year is going to be a significant help for him.
