Chelsea supporters have even more reason to be excited about the arrival of Estevao Willian later in 2025 after watching him score a stunning goal for Palmeiras this week.
It’s already been confirmed that Estevao Willian, 17, will officially leave Palmeiras to join Chelsea in the summer of 2025. Therefore, everyone at Stamford Bridge should be keeping a very close eye on what the Brazilian teenager does on the football pitch.
Estevao started and scored a stunning individual goal during Palmeiras’ 3-1 victory over Botafogo on Thursday. The right-winger demonstrated his remarkable close control when dribbling in the build up, before producing a delicate chipped finish on his weaker right foot. It’s certainly not the first wondergoal we’ve seen from him in Palmeiras colours, too.
Minutes played | Goals | Total shots | Chances created | Accurate passes | Successful dribbles | Big chances missed | Match rating |
90 | 1 | 2 | 5 | 26/36 (72%) | 3/6 (50%) | 1 | 8.7 |
Estevao wants the number 41 shirt at Chelsea, which is the same as his current kit at Palmeiras. Based on the youngster’s potential, the club should grant him his wish to help him settle.

Chelsea fans predict Estevao Willian can break into their XI next season
A selection of Chelsea supporters were left stunned by the individual quality of Estevao in his latest Palmeiras display, especially for his memorable goal.
Many Blues fans area already predicting the 17-year-old Brazilian talent will break into their starting XI next season…
One fan said: “Estevao is going to be a huge addition to this team next season. There’s no reason as to why that right wing spot couldn’t be his immediately, he’s so incredible for his age.”
“Estevao might be the first really good goalscoring winger at Chelsea,” another wrote.
Estevao is actually going straight into our starting line up man, generational talent.

One supporter posted: “Estevao doesn’t need overlapping or underlapping full-backs to beat his man.”
“[Estevao’s] position is just waiting for him,” another shared.
Estevao ran around 3 players to score that goal while Neto x Noni got locked up by Lamptey. One of them has to give up their jersey number.

One fan claimed: “Estevao will be starting for us on the right he’s never ever played on the left.”
Chelsea believe they’ve hit the jackpot with Estevao, along with Kendry Paez, as they continue the transfer policy of signing some of the world’s most exciting young players.
Of course, it’s going to be a significant step up for him if he’s introduced to Chelsea’s first-team squad in the 2025/26 campaign. He’s certainly been proving he’s a special talent in the Palmeiras first team for over a year now, though.

Brazilian publication Globo delivered a glowing verdict on Chelsea prospect Estevao after his Palmeiras performance this week.
They wrote: “Estevao – 8/10. He has recovered from tonsillitis and did what he does best. He carried the ball against the marking as if there were no barrier, took it away from the goalkeeper and tied the game in the 28th minute. In the 20th minute of the second half, he hit the post with a header.”
His reputation continues to grow bigger and bigger with every performance as the anticipation grows ahead of his imminent move to England.
In 55 first-team matches for Palmeiras, he’s scored 18 goals and created 10 assists. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Chelsea think he’s ready for them straight away.
