Chelsea made their first notable move of the January transfer window yesterday as a fan favourite has been handed one final chance to prove himself at the club.
It was announced yesterday that Trevoh Chalobah had been brought back to Stamford Bridge midway through his loan spell at Crystal Palace, as the Blues look to cover their centre-back injury problems.
Chelsea are still expected to sell Chalobah next summer, however he now has the chance to prove he is a far better option than the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo and Axel Disasi.

Armando Broja likely to return to Chelsea in January
A number of other players currently on loan away from the club certainly have the ability to make an impact on the first team, with Andrey Santos looking a brilliant option to offer depth in the middle of the park.
One player there has not been too much talk about is Armando Broja, with his loan spell at Everton yet to properly get going due to his ongoing injury issues.
The striker’s latest issue is set to keep him out for a number of months, and for this reason a return to West London could be about to occur.
New Everton boss David Moyes admitted it was likely he is going to continue his rehabilitation at Stamford Bridge after his most recent injury.
He said: “We think he’s going to be out for somewhere between 10-12 weeks. It’s his ankle ligaments. It’ll probably mean there’s a possibility that he will have to go back to Chelsea.”

What did Everton fans think of Armando Broja?
Despite only making limited appearances for his loan side, Broja had certainly made an impact for his new side when featuring.
Everton fans were really impressed by a Broja cameo against Manchester City, where they were calling for him to start over regular striker Dominic Cakvert-Lewin.
It still seems as if there is no long-term future for the Albanian at Stamford Bridge, and Chelsea will be cursing their luck that he has been unable to build on his value during his time away.
Chelsea are interested in signing a new striker to compete with Nicolas Jackson for minutes, with Liam Delap leading the way as a potential target.
