Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel has become a target for Chelsea in this transfer window.
According to reports, Chelsea have already made an enquiry for Mathys Tel’s services as they look to bolster their attack.
Tel may not be the only piece of business that Chelsea and Bayern Munich do this month. While Chelsea are interested in Tel, Bayern are thought to be keen on Christopher Nkunku.
It is believed that Bayern have already struck an agreement with Nkunku over a transfer.

Bayern Munich do not want to sell Mathys Tel to Chelsea
If Chelsea are to sign Tel this month, it looks like they are going to have to overcome a couple of big barriers.
Firstly, they will have to convince Bayern to do a deal with them, as ESPN are reporting that the German giants are reluctant to sell the 19-year-old.
At the same time, though, they are unlikely to deny Tel an exit if he wants to leave.
“Obviously we’ll listen if a player isn’t happy, then we’ll talk about it,” Bayern’s sporting director Christoph Freund was quoted as saying by the same outlet.
Tel is not the only offensive player being linked to Stamford Bridge, with it being claimed that Chelsea have approached Liam Delap’s agents for a second time.

Mathys Tel has concerns about Chelsea move
Chelsea are also going to have to convince the player himself. According to TBR, Tel’s preference is to stay at Bayern, while he also has reservations about joining Chelsea because of the size of their squad.
Of course, it will get smaller if Nkunku leaves, while no one knows what is going to happen with Mykhailo Mudryk. Renato Veiga could depart Chelsea as well, though his potential exit would not impact Tel.
All in all, you would not completely rule it out just yet. But it is quite clear that Chelsea have a lot of work to do if they want to bring Tel to the club this month.
