Chelsea are thought to have several names on their shortlist of winger targets going into the summer transfer window.
Last week, it was claimed that Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Gittens is Chelsea’s priority after impressing in Germany this season.
The Blues have also been linked with the likes of Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho and AC Milan’s Rafael Leao.
Garnacho, however, is not the only Premier League winger Chelsea are said to be interested in signing.

Chelsea interested in Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon
Chelsea have tried to bring in Anthony Gordon in the past, and it looks like the Newcastle United attacker is a player who is still on their radar.
According to The i Paper, Chelsea and London rivals Arsenal are both interested in signing Gordon from Newcastle.
The 24-year-old will not come cheap, though, with the same outlet claiming that he has a price tag of around £80m.
Gordon has been a success for Newcastle since joining from Everton in 2023. This season, the Englishman has not been as productive as he was during the previous campaign, but Newcastle supporters will still be satisfied with his contribution, especially if it helps the club get into the Champions League next term.
Season | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
2024/25 | 33 | 6 | 5 |
2023/24 | 35 | 11 | 10 |
Total | 68 | 17 | 15 |
In February, Gordon spoke about Cole Palmer, stating that he would love to play with his England teammate at club level.

Anthony Gordon wanted to play under Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea
Thomas Tuchel was in charge of Chelsea when the Blues first started to show an interest in Gordon.
According to the player himself, a transfer nearly happened and working with Tuchel was something that he was keen on.
“It was quite close to be honest,” Gordon was quoted as saying by TNT Sports after being asked about his failed move to Chelsea. “I was desperate to go at the time and work with him especially.
“I felt like my style would suit his style of play, the way he was playing at Chelsea which was very exciting for me.”
Following Tuchel’s appointment as England manager, Gordon has finally been given the opportunity to work with the German.
At club level, Eddie Howe remains his boss, but if Chelsea get their way, then Gordon could soon find himself being coached by Enzo Maresca.
