Chelsea are beginning to get into must-win territory as they prepare to host Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are on a run of two wins in 10 games in the Premier League, seeing them drop out of the top four.
Maresca has already confirmed Filip Jorgensen will start in goal, despite his high-profile error costing them late on against Aston Villa.
There was plenty of success for the Blues last time they played Southampton. Chelsea ran out 5-1 winners at St. Mary’s.
It was here where Chelsea fans serenaded Maresca with supportive chants from the crowd, although the feeling is anything but positive to the side now.

Chelsea predicted XI vs Southampton
Chelsea know the top five are likely to qualify for the Champions League this season, and they currently sit just one point off those places.
The Blues will have some enforced changes to make following more injury woes, and The Chelsea Chronicle have predicted the starting side for the visit of the Saints to West London.
Filip Jorgensen
Chelsea fans were critical of Jorgensen after another goalkeeper error cost them at least a point against Villa. However, the manager has insisted that he will remain as the number one this week.
Josh Acheampong
Malo Gusto was poor at full-back against Villa despite being in his more natural position. Because of this, and in an attempt to maintain Reece James’ fitness, Josh Acheampong will start at right-back.
Tosin Adarabioyo
Tosin Adarabioyo came in for Trevoh Chalobah early into the loss to Villa, and will continue on Tuesday night. Chalobah will be out for a week after a scan on his issue.
Levi Colwill
It is fair to say that Levi Colwill has not been at his best in recent weeks, however will continue in the absence of any first team replacements. Chelsea are still very happy with the England international’s development though.
Marc Cucurella
One of Chelsea’s most consistent performers of late has been Marc Cucurella, and he will continue in the starting side for the visit of Southampton.
Moises Caicedo
There remain few midfielders on the level of Moises Caicedo this season, and he will continue at the heart of midfield. He may be thanking his captain for stopping him getting sent off for dissent against Villa.
Enzo Fernandez
Enzo Fernandez was back on the scoresheet at Villa Park in a more advanced role, and the hope will be that he can continue to contribute in the final third against opposition who are poor in comparison.
Cole Palmer
Maresca decided to start Cole Palmer off the right last time out, as he looked to get him on the ball more in attacking areas. The Blues will continue with him there in the absence of Noni Madueke.
Christopher Nkunku
Christopher Nkunku has struggled since being a regular in the starting side without Nicolas Jackson available for selection. However, he will have the chance to feature in a central role against Southampton, where it is believed is his best role.

Tyrique George
Tyrique George has been waiting patiently for an opportunity to start his first Premier League game for Chelsea since being promoted to the first team. Maresca played down George’s chances of starting regularly, however a game against bottom of the league is the perfect opportunity for him.
Pedro Neto
Pedro Neto’s performance up front was one of the bright spots of the loss to Villa, with his pace being what set up their goal. In the search for the perfect option without Jackson and Marc Guiu, Neto is proving the best choice right now.
