Cole Palmer and Enzo Fernandez combined in the Premier League for Chelsea to propel Enzo Maresca’s side to victory against Tottenham.
Chelsea had some star men against Spurs, but you’d struggle to find many better than that of Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer.
Fernandez was brilliant and got the winner, expertly provided by Palmer – who looked like his former self again – much to the delight of Stamford Bridge.
The pair we’re also delighted with the three points on the night – as shown by their social media posts.

Palmer posted on Instagram after the game, with the caption ‘We back’ whilst tagging Fernandez in the post.
A much-needed reminder to the Premier League from Palmer. He’s been bang out of form in the past few months, but his performance against Ange Postecoglou’s side was one of his best this season.
Palmer does need to get back among the goals, but this assist is the first step to getting himself, and Chelsea, back to where they were previously.
But this isn’t just Palmer. The likes of Fernandez, Robert Sanchez and Moises Caicedo showed their brilliance once more in the Premier League. Now, it must be more consistent.
Fernandez says London is blue
Fernandez hasn’t directly responded to Palmer as of yet, but did take to his story to say three words that Chelsea supporters will love. ‘London is blue’.
The World Cup-winner also posted on his account, with the caption ‘Derby win at the Bridge. What a way to see you again Blues, enjoy it’. He definitely enjoyed that one.
A great Thursday evening for Palmer, Fernandez – and overall – Chelsea. Now, Enzo Maresca’s men travel to Brentford on Sunday. Can they make it another three points in the Premier League?
