Cuyahoga Falls celebrates Ohio State with a temporary street name change ahead of the big game against Notre Dame

Walters got crafty, making 16 cardboard signs in his basement over a few nights. He was excited to see neighbors and city workers join him for the sign reveal. Fitzgerald was one of the first to show up, saying they couldn’t have a Notre Dame street in town during the game.
Another local, Kelley Worner, was thrilled about the name change. She loves watching games with her family and was all in when she heard about the idea. Angela Brown, who runs a local Facebook page, was also excited, cheering, “Go Bucks! Go Bucks!”
Stella Turner, a Notre Dame resident, joked that she was lucky to see the new sign from her house. The mayor reassured Fighting Irish fans that the name would go back to normal after three days.
Fitzgerald’s wife, Kirsten, isn’t as big of a fan but still supports her husband. She crafts buckeye-themed necklaces and plans to watch the game closely, expecting a Buckeyes win.
