Fabrizio Romano has been discussing what could happen with Chelsea wonderkid Kendry Paez this summer.
It has been an up and down season for Chelsea, but the club’s future looks bright thanks to the likes of Paez and Estevao Willian.
The two teenagers will arrive at Cobham this summer and will be old enough to play for the first team next term.
Kendry has been training with Strasbourg, Chelsea’s sister club, who are obviously one option for the Blues if they want to send the attacking midfielder out on loan.

Fabrizio Romano expects Kendry Paez to leave Chelsea on loan
At the end of March, it was claimed that Paez would join Strasbourg for the 2025/26 season.
There has been no confirmation of that deal happening, but it looks like the 17-year-old will be leaving Chelsea on loan this summer.
Romano recently shared on Threads that he expects Paez to go out on loan when the transfer market reopens.
The fact that Paez only turns 18 next month means sending him to another club where he gets regular minutes and does not have to deal with as much pressure could be a good idea.
The same can be said about Estevao, but the winger has looked like a completely different talent in Brazil and the expectation is that he will be part of Enzo Maresca‘s first-team squad next term.
With Estevao arriving, Chelsea can afford to let Christopher Nkunku go or perhaps another attacker.

Kendry Paez on most advanced young players list
Whatever Chelsea do with Paez this summer, the club seem to have stumbled across a real gem.
On CIES’ list of most advanced non-big-5 young players, Paez comes in at third. Only Estevao and Geovany Quenda — two other youngsters on Chelsea’s books — are ahead of him.
Again, then, Chelsea could have a very exciting team in the future. They just have to get the development of Paez and others right, which could mean sanctioning a loan or two.
