The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to perform the Final Draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 today in Rabat. This defining event will decide the group-stage pairings for the 24 national teams that have qualified for Africa’s leading football competition.

The draw will divide the 24 eligible teams into six groups of four. The top two teams from each group as well as the four best third-placed teams will progress to the Round of 16, thereby starting the knockout phase of the competition.

Morocco hosting the AFCON for the first time since the 1988 edition. The country will also share the hosting of the 2030 FIFA World Cup with Spain and Portugal, thereby further highlighting its increasing relevance in the worldwide soccer scene.
