Kai Havertz is expected to miss the rest of the season after suffering an injury during Arsenal’s mid-season trip to Dubai.
The German forward has been instrumental for Arsenal this season, netting 15 goals in all competitions.
Arsenal is currently locked in a tight battle with Liverpool for the Premier League title and has advanced to the Champions League round of 16 after finishing third in the group stage.
However, their hopes for silverware have taken a major blow with reports suggesting that Havertz will not be returning to the field for the Gunners this season.
According to The Athletic, Havertz has sustained a serious hamstring tear and may need surgery to fix the problem.
Even if surgery isn’t required, it’s said that Havertz’s main focus is now on getting ready for the start of the 2025/26 season, which is still six months away.
This predicament comes after the club made a bold choice to skip signing a striker during the January transfer window, despite ongoing worries about injured forwards.

Bukayo Saka has been out since mid-December due to a hamstring injury, with his return not anticipated until at least March.
Gabriel Martinelli also picked up a hamstring injury in the recent second-leg defeat to Newcastle United, while Gabriel Jesus has already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
