Nigerian players Ademola Lookman and Raphael Onyedika are set to face each other in the UEFA Champions League Play-offs, as their respective teams, Atalanta and Club Brugge, have been drawn to compete in the play-off round of the tournament.
The draw for the play-offs took place at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday afternoon.

Atalanta secured their spot in the play-off round following a 2-2 draw against Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday, although Lookman was unable to participate due to a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Club Brugge, the champions of the Belgian Pro League, also advanced despite suffering a 3-1 defeat to Manchester City, with Onyedika contributing the sole goal for his team.
The first legs of the knockout play-off round are scheduled for February 11-12, with the return matches taking place the following week.
The eight teams that emerge victorious from the play-offs will then face the top eight teams from the initial league phase in the round of 16, continuing the knockout format all the way to the final.
