While Chelsea were not at their free-flowing best last night, three points are appreciated no matter how they come at this point of the season.
The Blues came from behind to beat West Ham last night, with a Pedro Neto goal and a deflected Cole Palmer striker sending the Stamford Bridge crowd home delighted.
It was Chelsea’s first win from behind at half-time at Stamford Bridge since 2013, something which stunned Enzo Maresca when he was told after the game.

Thiago Silva and Morgan Rogers wowed by Cole Palmer against West Ham
The game changed for the Blues when the boss made a string of attacking substitutions. Neto and Marc Guiu in particular made a real impact off the bench.
As always though, everything seemed to go through Palmer for the hosts, and while his deflected strike won’t go down as his goal, the performance he put in deserved one.
It looks as if a number of figures in the game seemed to be very impressed with what they saw from Chelsea’s talisman too.
Former Blue Thiago Silva took to Instagram to react to Palmer’s performance, while England international and noted friend Morgan Rogers followed suit.

Silva will know better than most just how talented Palmer is after being a teammate of his last season at Stamford Bridge, where he almost single-handedly fired them to a sixth placed finish.

How is Thiago Silva getting on since leaving Chelsea?
Thiago Silva left after a sensational tenure at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2024, with him returning to his home country to join Fluminense.
Silva’s brilliance helped his new side complete an unlikely turnaround to survive relegation in Brazil, and he is set to continue with them in the upcoming campaign.
The defender has gotten an up close look at Estevao Willian, who there are high hopes about when he joins up with the first team at the end of this season.
Silva has already spoken with Estevao, letting him know how much excitement there is about him at Chelsea already.
