With there being just over a week left of the January transfer window, it is expected that a number of deals are still set to go through involving Chelsea.
The Blues have so far only added Trevoh Chalobah to their ranks after recalling him from his loan move to Crystal Palace. The Cobham graduate starred on his return to Stamford Bridge last night against Wolves.
It is believed Chelsea are still keen on signing players for a variety of positions, however will likely need to part ways with some first team stars before this can happen.

One individual who has not even been handed a real opportunity to feature in that competition is Carney Chukwuemeka. He started just once in the freezing conditions against Astana.
It was originally claimed that Strasbourg were the only club Chelsea were willing to loan Chukwuemeka to, with them instead preferring to see him leave permanently in January.
However, with the days ticking away in this month’s transfer window, that stance may begin to soften as they run out of options.
It seems as if other sides may be clocking on to this too. According to The Athletic, an unnamed Premier League side yesterday expressed an interest in signing Chukwuemeka this month.

A number of top flight sides have previously been linked with signing Chukwuemeka, either permanently or on loan.
West Ham are intrigued by signing Chukwuemeka, with them also holding an interest in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who has equally struggled for minutes this season at Stamford Bridge.
David Moyes is reportedly a fan of Chukwuemeka, however Everton signing the midfielder would currently need to be a permanent deal after the loan of Armando Broja.
However, it has been reported Broja could return to Chelsea after another serious injury is set to keep him out for a prolonged period of time.
