Victor Boniface Tops Juventus’ Shortlist Ahead of Summer Window

Juventus are reportedly turning their attention to Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface as a more affordable alternative for a new centre-forward this summer.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, has remained on Juventus’s radar for months.

However, his high valuation reportedly pegged at a €75 million release clause makes a deal increasingly unlikely, with top clubs also in the race to sign Osimhen.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus are now exploring other options, with Boniface emerging as one of the top candidates.

The 24-year-old was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia during the January window but remained at Leverkusen, where he has continued to attract interest from several European and Asian clubs.

Boniface, who is seen as a more financially viable option, fits the profile Juventus are seeking a young, dynamic forward with the ability to grow into a leading role.

While he hasn’t consistently featured in Leverkusen’s starting XI in recent weeks, his goal-scoring ability and physical presence make him an appealing target for the Serie A giants.

So far this season, Boniface has scored eight goals across all competitions. Despite some injury setbacks and rotational decisions from manager Xabi Alonso, his impact when on the pitch has not gone unnoticed.

Juventus are eager to bring in a reliable goalscorer who can make an immediate impact in Serie A as they attempt to bolster their squad for a stronger league campaign next season.

With the summer transfer window fast approaching, discussions are expected to accelerate.

In addition to Boniface, the Bianconeri are also keeping tabs on RB Leipzig’s Loïs Openda, Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze, and Stade Rennais forward Arnaud Kalimuendo.

While Osimhen remains a dream signing, Juventus’ growing interest in Boniface suggests a more pragmatic approach to squad building.
