Noni Madueke got Chelsea off to a flyer in the Blues’ 3-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.
After a very bad error by Manchester City debutant Abdukodir Khusanov, Noni Madueke was able to score in just the third minute.
Chelsea then had a great opportunity to find the back of the net again shortly afterwards, but Jadon Sancho could not convert and the Blues were eventually made to pay for their lack of efficiency in front of goal.
At half-time, Chelsea were still in the game, though, and Madueke and Reece James had a lot to say before stepping back onto the pitch.

Reece James and Noni Madueke have lengthy chat
While Madueke was the reason why Chelsea were able to take the lead at the Etihad, he has to take responsibility for the first goal that his side conceded.
The winger did a poor job of tracking Josko Gvardiol’s run before the Croatian managed to convert past Robert Sanchez.
It was perhaps something that James and Madueke discussed, as the two were seen in deep conversation just before the second half resumed.
Madueke’s goal against City was his seventh in the Premier League this season. Madueke also netted in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Wolves on Monday, which was another easy goal for the 22-year-old.

Noni Madueke was Chelsea’s biggest threat against Man City
Enzo Maresca will be disappointed with how Madueke let Gvardiol go for City’s equaliser.
Going forward, though, the Chelsea manager should be pleased with the Englishman’s performance. He was a real threat for the Blues, or at least compared to the team’s other attackers.
On top of his goal, Madueke also managed to register one key pass and complete two out of the four dribbles that he attempted.
He brought so much more to the game than Cole Palmer, who was quite disappointing for once. He botched up the counter-attack that resulted in Sancho’s blocked shot with an overhit pass to Nicolas Jackson.
Had the attacking midfielder got that right, Jackson probably would have made it 2-0 instead of passing the ball to Sancho.
