Whenever the transfer window opens, you can never be sure which Chelsea players are going to remain at the club by the time it closes.
There was no indication that Renato Veiga wanted out before the January window, however he was the first to depart as he joined Juventus on loan.
Of course, some players remain high on their list of untouchable talents. Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer have proven themselves to be amongst the most talented in the Premier League.

Chelsea could lose key players due to ‘break clauses’ in contracts
A number of first team stars have also played their best football at the club under Enzo Maresca, and would certainly be part of the manager’s plans no matter what happens this summer.
Despite the majority of the first team squad signing contracts that are not set to expire until 2030 or beyond, it has emerged that there could be details in those deals that means they are not as secure at Stamford Bridge as once thought.
Simon Phillips has stated on his Substack that break clauses based on achieving certain targets as a club could see top players available for the right fee.
He said: “Moises Caicedo is obviously ‘untouchable’ according to our source, but I have heard from other sources about plenty of our players having certain break clauses if we don’t reach targets, and if clubs offer enough money. So hopefully we can avoid any awkward situations there.”
One of the main targets at this stage will be qualifying for Champions League football for next season, something which is very much in their hands right now.
The Blues currently sit fourth, whilst have also kept alive one opportunity to win a trophy this season in the form of the Conference League.

Enzo Maresca’s three ‘untouchable’ players at Chelsea
With the boss likely to be the one taking the Blues into next season, it is important his opinion is taken seriously when it comes to squad building.
Matt Law has previously stated that Maresca sees three Chelsea players as crucial going forwards, with Caicedo being one of those.
He said to London is Blue: “Fofana’s a huge blow. I know for a fact that Enzo… you know, he has some untouchables in that team, obviously [Levi] Colwill being the biggest one.
“[Moises] Caicedo’s certainly one of them and Fofana’s one of them. He rates Fofana as one of the best defenders, particularly in his system, in the entire country.”
While Palmer was not mentioned, it is easy to expect he sits at the top of that list, given the regular goals and assists he provides for the Blues.
