A dream came true on Monday night for Tyrique George after the Chelsea winger made his Premier League debut.
Tyrique George was brought on in the 84th minute of Chelsea‘s 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
It was deserved after how the 18-year-old played in his side’s 5-0 win against Morecambe in the FA Cup earlier this month.
George was a real threat versus Morecambe and has now been rewarded with a Premier League debut.

Tyrique George took too long to get ready
There was a bit of frustration from Enzo Maresca when it was time for George to come on.
Journalist Rob Guest shared on football.london that when the moment for George to make his first top-flight appearance arrived, the Chelsea academy product did not even have his shirt on, which resulted in Maresca having “a bit of a go” at him.
Of course, in the end, George was able to make his Premier League bow, something he will surely never forget.
Chelsea have received loan offers for George, but Maresca clearly has use for him at this moment in time.

Tyrique George could get more opportunities in the Premier League
With Mykhailo Mudryk still suspended, George could get more run-outs in the English top flight this season.
Pedro Neto can alternate with Jadon Sancho in the left-wing position, with the Portuguese coming in for his teammate on Monday.
However, Neto disappointed, completing just one of the six crosses he attempted against his former side. The 24-year-old also failed to register a single shot during his time on the pitch.
Ultimately, Neto is probably better on the right, where he can cut in from with his left foot. If Maresca believes the same, then it could see George get more minutes as long as Mudryk remains unavailable for selection.
There is always the possibility of Chelsea buying a new left winger, though, which would limit George’s opportunities. Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens continues to be linked to Chelsea, for example.
