Veteran Nollywood actor, director, and member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Desmond Olusola Elliot, has addressed recent allegations about his sexuality.
In a recent interview with TVC, Elliot dismissed the rumors as baseless and not worth his time.
He remarked, “Why should I respond to an allegation that has no impact on my life?”
“It’s simply someone’s opinion. I don’t see the need to confirm or deny it as long as I’m making a positive difference in the lives of others.”
In a clear rejection of the claims, the 50-year-old Elliot stated, “I am not gay.”
He also expressed his worries about the unchecked influence of bloggers and called on the government to consider regulating such platforms.
It’s important to mention that a controversial blogger, Gistlover, had previously listed Elliot among several public figures allegedly involved in homosexuality.
