Several persons are feared de@d after suspected bandits launched a deadly attack on Tadurga village in Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State on Monday night, June 16.
According to Vanguard, the assailants, armed with sophisticated weapons, stormed the community and began shooting into the air, looting shops, rustling cattle and unleashing terror on the residents.
“They came en masse, shooting sporadically. They looted shops, abducted many villagers, k!lled several others, and made away with cattle.”a resident said
The exact number of victims who were abducted has yet to be determined. Confirming the incident, CSP Nafiu Abubakar, the spokesperson for the Kebbi State Police Command, stated that the command has initiated an investigation into the matter.
