Celebrity makeup artist, Mylah Morales has testified in a New York court about a disturbing incident in 2010 involving music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his longtime girlfriend at the time, R&B singer Cassie Ventura.
Morales’s testimony comes amid an ongoing s3x trafficking and abuse investigation into Combs, who has recently faced mounting legal challenges and public scrutiny over his alleged treatment of women throughout his career.
During her court appearance, Morales described a violent encounter that occurred during the weekend of the Grammy Awards. She and Ventura were preparing in a Los Angeles hotel suite before Cassie was scheduled to attend a private party hosted by Prince.
According to Morales, an irate Combs burst into the room, shouting, “Where the f–k is she?” He and Ventura then went into a bedroom, where Morales heard yelling and screaming.
When Combs exited the room and left the hotel suite, Morales said Ventura emerged visibly injured, with a swollen eye, a busted lip, and bruises on her head. Morales described Ventura as “distraught” and “upset.”
Fearing for Ventura’s well-being, Morales took her to her own home and contacted a doctor friend, who assessed Ventura and confirmed she did not suffer a concussion.
Morales testified that she did not contact the police at the time because she feared for her own safety, suggesting a climate of intimidation surrounding the music mogul.
This account is part of a broader federal investigation into Combs, who has been accused by multiple women of physical abuse, sexual misconduct, and trafficking-related offenses. Cassie Ventura herself filed a civil lawsuit in late 2023, accusing Combs of years of abuse. That case was settled out of court within 24 hours, but it spurred additional complaints and led to intensified federal scrutiny.
As the investigation continues, testimonies like Morales’s provide insight into the alleged pattern of abuse and control Combs exerted over women in both his personal and professional life. Combs has denied all allegations and has not been convicted of any crimes related to these accusations.
