Popular Nigerian disc jockey DJ Big N has sent a loud and clear message to the flood of newcomers jumping into the DJ scene without passion or depth.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Mavin Records official DJ wrote:
“Everybody now wants to be a DJ. It’s not an escape route, it’s not a plan B. If you don’t have deep love for music, you will be a flash in the pan.”
He didn’t stop there. In a direct jab at trend-following DJs, he added:
“Yeah I’m talking to those DJs who think the only music out there is Amapiano. Build your crates.”
The post has since sparked conversations in the entertainment space, with many fans and fellow DJs agreeing with his stance.
